Mechanical stamping presses introduced
Nidec Minster Corp. has announced the introduction of the MMC Press line of mechanical stamping presses to markets in North and South America. The machines are manufactured by Ningbo CFG Machinery Co. in Ningbo, China.
The line includes single- and two-point gap and unitized-frame straight-side mechanical presses, as well as tie-rod construction straight-side machines with crankshaft or eccentric-geared drives in two- or four-point configurations with up to 1,200 tons' capacity.
According to the manufacturer, all machines meet or exceed JIS Class 1 accuracy standards. Features include wet clutch and brake (most models), hydraulic overload protection, monitored automatic lubrication, and Wintriss brand controls. In addition, many straight-side presses feature double-geared drives and eight-point gibbing.
