Press brake features new crowning system

October 9, 2007

The TruBend 3180, the newest and largest model in the company's TruBend 3000 series of press brakes, features a new crowning system that uses hydraulic cylinders combined with a passive crowning technique, as well as a new five-axis backgauge with ±3 in. on the X2axis.

The press brake's Delem T3000 control has a large color monitor with standard 2-D graphic programming and optional 3-D visualization. Radius programming, machine diagnostic functions, and an online Help guide are designed to simplify operation. The guide can search by product or drawing number, has two USB interfaces, and is available in 13 languages.

The press brake has a 162-in. bed length, 144 in. between the columns, and 198 tons of press force.
