Management software designed for steel construction

Steel Projects has developed a new version of its software, Steel Projects PLM, designed to automate and optimize the connection between the drawing office and the workshop. The software comprises seven separate but fully integrated modules that can automate the production process.

It manages the workflow of the factory by reporting, monitoring, and calculating production time and controls scheduling of steel processing machinery and fabrication. The module allows for automatic or manual nesting. A CNC automation module imports previous work for manual or automatic transfer to the CNC machine. The stock module then can calculate the required stock and reservations of the required quantities automatically by employing the user's CAD data.
