Crawler inspects large pipe with high flow, deep mud, big obstacles
The RX400 crawler body from Envirosight LLC is designed to inspect pipe up to 10 ft. in diameter. It has a built-in, remotely operated camera lift with 17.5 in. of vertical travel — enough to center viewing in a 60-in. line. The crawler integrates with any ROVVER X pipe inspection system and existing controls, reel, camera, and accessories.
Features include selectable 412-/640-Hz sonde; an illuminated rear-view camera; an expansion port for an elevated rear-view camera; a clutch; and sensors for tilt, roll, pressure, temperature, pressure, and lift height. Four aimable LED tri-lamps and twin LED path lamps deliver increased illumination for large pipes. Opposing rangefinders at the camera head allow automatic view centering and accurate measurement of pipe diameter.
