Flowmeter enables nonintrusive pipe flow measurement

Shenitech LLC has announced the availability of its third-generation STUF-300F1B wall-mount transit-time flowmeter.

Designed for nonintrusive pipe flow measurement, the flowmeter uses a pair of clamp-on ultrasonic transducers to measure flow from outside the pipe. Accuracy is ±1 percent, or ±0.5 percent with on-site calibration. There is no contact with process liquids, and no maintenance is required.

The ultrasonic flowmeter accommodates pipes from 1 to 240 in. in diameter. Standard features include 4-20 mA, OCT, relay, batch control, alarm, and RS-485 with Modbus. Optional thermal energy measurement capability also is available.
