Integrated analysis program now provides fluid analysis, reporting

IronCAD has updated its MPIC (Multi-physics for IronCAD) integrated analysis program. It provides advanced finite element analysis, focusing on simplified use for fully coupled multiphysics stress, thermal, electrostatic, and fluid analysis.

The new computational fluid dynamics module is based on the newest optimal least-square formulation with a velocity-vorticity-pressure equal order/convergence formulation.

Other features include a new unit system for more flexible metric or U.S. unit system engineering applications. The simulation analysis is computed based on the actual user geometry/material unit to better preserve numerical accuracy. A new energy-based moving-least-squares FE tying fills the small gaps and overlapping of parts for general assembly analysis without geometry fixing. Reporting options also have been added.
