Metrology software brings new capabilities to inspection machines
Heidenhain offers version 3.1 of its IK 5000 Quadra-Chek PC-based metrology software for 2-D and 3-D measuring tasks on inspection machines.
The software can communicate with Optimet and Keyence lasers, offers 3-D profile fit algorithms, and can export measured features in STEP format.
With the ability to operate on 32- or 64-bit PCs using either Microsoft® Windows® 7 or 8 operating systems, the software can be used on a variety of CMMs and video measuring microscopes.
