NDT inspection kit features multi-LED flashlight
Spectronics Corp.’s OPK-300N OPTIMAX™ Multi-Lite™ NDT inspection kit features a multi-LED flashlight. Its lightweight, cordless design allows NDT technicians to engage in a variety of applications in the field or workstation.
The kit features three Qwik-Connect™ interchangeable LED lamp heads that connect to the flashlight. Providing single-wavelength illumination in UV-A (365 nm) and blue light (450 nm), it’s suitable for prescreening of fluorescent particles in ambient light conditions and for more complex NDT inspections using magnetic particles or fluorescent penetrants. In addition, a white-light LED helps illuminate dark work areas.
An electronic intensity stabilizer helps ensure the beam will not weaken between charges.
