Portable eddy current flaw detector available in four models

Olympus has introduced the Nortec 600 series eddy current flaw detector. The compact, 3.7-lb. unit features a 5.7-in. VGA display and true full-screen mode. It can produce user-selectable, high-contrast eddy current signals in any lighting condition.

Available in four models, the flaw detector features an application selection menu, an all-in-one display, real-time readings, and signal calibration in freeze mode. Its redesigned interface includes knob-operated navigation, simple menu structure, and direct-access keys.

The 600 model delivers basic single-frequency eddy current inspection, while the 600C adds digital conductivity and coating thickness measurements. The 600S adds rotating scanner use, and the 600D adds dual-frequency capabilities.
