Portable measuring system features dynamic referencing function

MoveInspect from Aicon, a portable measuring system that works with high-resolution digital cameras and a hand-held probe, features a dynamic referencing function that compensates for object and measuring device movement so they do not affect results.
The system uses optical reference points so that all measurements are transformed automatically into the object-coordinate system. The system therefore knows all the time where the object and the cameras are located in space.
The user can relocate cameras during measuring and then continue the process, allowing for measurement of a large area with little equipment.
