Rotary encoders available with PROFINET interface
The Leine & Linde 900 rotary encoders series, distributed by Heidenhain Corp., provides absolute position measurements needed in equipment used in harsh environments in the steel, oil and gas, transportation, and construction industries. The latest addition to this product family is the PROFINET® interface for the automation of heavy equipment.
The encoders use inductive scanning to withstand conditions such as high temperatures, moisture, vibration, and shock while maintaining resolution and accuracy. The new interface expands on the existing EnDat, PROFIBUS®, EtherNet/IP™, EtherCAT and DRIVE-CLiQ interfaces, allowing integration with a variety of automation systems.
