Software facilitates inspection, part verification
Verisurf Software Inc. has released Verisurf version 6 software. The new Windows® 7, 64-bit release includes features for in-process inspection, portable inspection, tool building, CATIA® interoperability, and 3-D scanning and reverse engineering.
The software is used with 3-D scanners to generate massive point clouds for manufacturing inspection, part verification, and reverse engineering. Users also can import very large CAD models and perform real-time, model-based inspection.
A new report manager has customizable HTML, Excel, XML, PDF, document encryption, and document verification checksum. It supports CATIA V5 R22 translation validation.
A new 3-D SPC option provides integrated SPC of key characteristic inspection measurements. An InspectionExpert option automates the creation of drawing-based AS9102 first-article inspection and reporting.
