Universal length-measuring instrument provides quick internal, external measurements

Mahr Federal has introduced the Linear 100, a universal length-measuring instrument for rapid internal and external measurements directly on the shop floor. It features a direct measuring range of up to 2 in. and an application range of up to 4 in. to measure both length and diameter.

The 3- by 3-in. measuring table allows precise measuring position adjustment of the part when measuring ODs. The 4- to 40-oz., adjustable measuring force remains virtually constant over the entire measuring range. For ID measurement, the 4- by 7.3-in. worktable allows for precision part positioning for measurement.
