UV inspection light designed for use on welded products
Maxxeon Inc. has introduced the WorkStar 2003 cordless UV inspection light for fluorescent magnetic particle and penetrant NDT testing. The tool has been designed for use by manufacturing, maintenance, and quality control technicians in the welding, casting, machining, oil field, and chemical processing industries.
The UV light exceeds ASTM E2297 requirements of 10,000 µW/cm². It goes on instantly, with no warm-up period required. Features include a movable light head, retractable hook for suspending, two-level power selection, and a removable belt clip. Magnetic and tripod mounting are possible.
