Welding monitor measures oxygen to 1PPM

Cob Industries offers the PurgEye® 300 Nano Weld Purge Monitor® manufactured by Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT®. The unit measures oxygen to 1 PPM with very high accuracy to 10 PPM, the company reports.

The unit is designed for weld purging applications that do not require data logging, alarms, and welder control. It has no knobs, switches, or controls.

With its leaktight connectors for weld purge hoses, the monitor can be used with free flow from the exhaust of a purging system or with an optional accessory hand pump and gas sampling probe that can take readings via a joint gap.

The monitor can be used to check purge gas quality from the main source as well as from the exhaust end of a purging system and to find air leaks in purging hose connections anywhere in a system.
