X-ray system inspects welds in pipeline segments

VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH has developed a new system for pipeline weld inspection that incorporates new, high-tech materials for digital flat panels.

Instead of using a massive steel boom, it employs a carbon fiber tube that weighs less than 220 lbs. and uses a cooling system on the inside.
