Solid-state HF welding machine offers induction or contact welding

Thermatool Corp. offers the 800-kW HAZControl™ Technology Dual solid-state HF welding machine. Its software offers a selection of HF weld power and frequency in ±1-kW and 1-kHz increments, allowing heat input control during welding. A predictive algorithm built into the software guides operators to the initial heat settings.

When a product has been tested and proven successful, the software allows operators to store and recall welding recipes. This helps reduce HF welding variability and increase repeatability, regardless of operator experience or shift-to-shift operations.

The Dual welding option offers two welding processes — induction or contact — on one welding system.
