With fixture enhancements, grinder sharpens punches, dies up to 8 in.

DCM Tech Inc. offers the model PDG punch and die grinder for sharpening turret press tooling, progressive dies, and small die sets. Standard center-mounted rotary fixturing holds punches and dies up to 6.25 in. in diameter with fixture enhancements available to sharpen dies up to 8 in.
The punch fixturing allows sharpening of straight and shear angle punches with up to 10 degrees' pitch. A 4- by 7-in. permanent magnet chuck also is included for nonround tools. The machine features a 5-HP vertical spindle motor and a specially compounded CBN superabrasive grinding wheel.
