Multichannel automatic bar loading magazine is sized for job shops

Breuning Irco’s ecoPROFI automatic bar loading magazine, available from Lexair Inc., delivers automatic, multisize bar feeding in a small-footprint package suitable for job shops. Capable of handling barstock from 0.2 to 2 in., the multichannel, “Gatling-Gun”-style magazine allows one-button channel changes in seconds for small-batch flexibility. The standard three-channel magazine can be expanded to a six-channel magazine.

The magazine is available in standard lengths of 10, 13, and 20 ft., with custom models available for bars up to 33 ft. long and 5.1 in. dia. It is compatible with all standard and Swiss-style lathes, as well as machining centers and rotary transfer machines, the company reports.
