The AMSAW® line from Advanced Machine & Eng. Co. uses carbide or cermet blades to cut ferrous and nonferrous material, bars, billets, rails, profiles, pipes, and tubes. The compact, rigid design includes hardened spindle gears ground for minimum backlash. The saw blade guide and dampening device help improve cutting accuracy by stabilizing the blade. Saw blades can be changed over in less than 5 min., the company states.

Options include stock size measuring, automated length measuring systems, bar manipulating systems, infeed and outfeed systems, and stackers. A variety of machine sizes and configurations are available.
