Tube bending machine features swiveling bending head

Lang Tube Tec offers a new, fully electric, CNC tube bending machine with automatic change of bending direction. The 25CNC-EMR R/L features a swiveling bending head and shifting of the clamping unit and pressure die support to achieve short cycle times. According to the company, this provides a time savings of up to 20 percent compared with conventional processing methods in which the bending head is fully rotated.

The machine allows various radii to be bent in one setting, either in a rotary draw bending or free-form bending process. With axial precision of ± 0.00197 in. (transportation, clamping, pressure die support) and 0.05 degrees (bending, rotation, swiveling), it can bend complex components.

Featuring high rigidity, the machine is designed for maximum tube dimensions of 1.18 by 0.06 in. The swivel-mounted collet rotation unit removes the tube to be bent from a tube magazine, and the swiveling bending head places the finished component on the ground or on a conveyor belt.
