Electric servo pumps offer small footprint

TECHNI Waterjet™ has introduced the Value Range of Quantum electric servo pumps (ESPs).

Three models are available: VP 10/60, capable of running a 0.007-in. orifice at 60,000 PSI; VP 15/52, capable of running a 0.010-in. orifice at 52,000 PSI; and the VP 20/55, capable of running a 0.011-in. orifice at 55,000 PSI.

The 990-lb. pumps are 54 by 21 by 42 in. Operated off single- or three-phase, 200 to 480 V, they require a 30-amp supply. In addition, the pumps are less than 68 dBA.

The electric servomotor drives the plungers directly and requires minimal cooling.
