Taper compensation added to waterjet system
The Mach 2c waterjet system from Flow Intl. Corp. now is available with Dynamic Waterjet® taper compensation. The technology adjusts taper angle with speed to help improve accuracy.
Dynamic Waterjet with Active Tolerance Control™ counters taper and stream lag using SmartStream™ mathematical models. This changes the angle dynamically based on cut speed. The system is capable of up to 800-IPM travel while maintaining tight tolerances, the company states.
