Waterjet intensifier pumps available in sizes from 30 to 200 HP

Jet Edge Inc. has released a brochure highlighting its precision waterjet intensifier pumps in sizes from 30 to 200 HP. The pumps can produce pressures from 60,000 to 90,000 PSI and flow rates of 0.65 to 4 GPM for waterjet cutting and surface preparation applications.

The intensifier pumps feature a tie-rod design that eliminates threads on the high-pressure cylinders, end caps, and hydraulic cylinders. According to the company, this reduces the likelihood of cracking and increases component life. Matched-metal components help prevent galling of hydraulic components.

Hydraulic accumulators are standard on the pumps, providing smooth hydraulic pressure and reducing spikes. Hydraulic fluid is cooled and filtered, and a hydraulic center section incorporates high-duty, cycle-rated piston seal and wear rings.
