Waterjet pump runs 1,000 hours between required rebuilds

OMAX® Corp. offers the EnduroMAX® pump for its JetMachining® centers. According to the manufacturer, the pump runs 1,000 hours at 55,000 PSI between required rebuilds. It also can run continuously at 60,000 PSI and is available in 30-, 40-, and 50-HP versions.
The design comprises independent pump cylinders rather than a manifold-style, wet-end assembly, allowing the individual cylinders to be rebuilt as opposed to the entire assembly. Retrofit kits are available.
