Welker Engineered Products offers an auto-indexing dimpler that protects dies by minimizing the potential for multiple-blank feeds in stamping operations. It prevents sheet metal blanks from sticking together by producing a pattern of small dimples in the trim edge that automatically index with the action of the press.

Suitable for aluminum, cold-rolled steel, and hot-rolled steel, the unit requires no air, hydraulic, or electrical connections. The dimpler also can help improve plant safety by correcting the fan-stack effect on tailor welded blanks.
