      <description><![CDATA[ESCO Tool offers a pneumatic pipe saw and wraparound track system for making square cuts to within &amp;plusmn;0.0625 in. on heavy-wall pipe up to 60 in. in diameter and 4.375 in. thick. The APS-438 universal air-powered saw and WrapTrack&amp;reg; system features a stainless steel band assembly that wraps around the pipe. It can be handled by one operator and is fully supported by four V-grooved roll guides.       <description><![CDATA[Vernon Tool has announced that the WinMPM&amp;trade; operating system on its pipe cutting machines now seamlessly converts 3-D coordinates into finished tubular structures in new industry-standard XML format. The system is compatible with 3-D structural, isometric, and pressure vessel modeling packages from such CAD suppliers as Tekla Structures&amp;reg;, Design Data&amp;reg;, AceCAD&amp;reg;, and ProSteel&amp;reg;. The Windows&amp;reg;-based operating system, which features vector-based conversion, directly processes exported data files or translates them into the manufacturer's proprietary internal file format. Data can be entered into the pipe cutting machines in three ways: manually at the machine console, manually into a remote PC to be transferred to the cutting machine by LAN, and downloaded from compatible CAD solid-modeling software using ASCII-format, txt-format, or generic XML-format industry standards.]]></description>

The 10-roll design can straighten to stringent tolerances at high speeds, according to the company. The machine incorporates multiple bending moment, which helps improve straightness by increasing the number of plastic bending cycles. According to the company, the leading and trailing ends of the tubes can be straightened more effectively because of the facility for additional pressure straightening. The straightener has vertical adjustment on all top rolls and numbers 2, 3, and 4 bottom rolls. This allows the machine to apply a gentle deflection to the tube by deflecting or bending the material over three or four roll center distances instead of two, as on the six-roll machine.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[The Fast Bend is the newest member of the Prima Finn-Power servo-electric bender family. It can bend five different parts with different thicknesses and alloys in five minutes, the company states.The machine helps reduce or eliminate non-value-added costs associated with the traditional press brake operation, according to the manufacturer. It can form different angles, hems, multiple corner radii, Z offsets, and closed tubular profiles with the standard set of tooling.The Automatic Tool Change (ATC) option, automatic feed table, and automatic inversion of positive and negative bending blades allow for more bends per side in an automatic sequence without manual intervention. The operator only loads, rotates, and unloads the part.The operator can initiate a part program by scanning the bar code on the part with the optional bar code reader. The instruction display screen notifies the operator when the tool setup is complete, and it displays graphically how the part blank is to be loaded. With this method, part setups as quick as 10 seconds can be achieved, says the company.]]></description>
