The Additive Report video team hits Detroit to get the RAPID + TCT story

Check out our video recaps from the 29th installment of North America’s largest additive manufacturing event

RAPID + TCT 2019 came to a close May 23, and attendees and exhibitors were openly enthusiastic about the latest installment of North America’s largest additive manufacturing exhibition and conference.

“Companies and people were pumped,” said Terry Wohlers, publisher of the Wohlers Report, the highly regarded annual analysis of the global 3D printing market. “They’ve never been more optimistic.”

Wohlers, whom The Additive Report interviewed at the Detroit show for a video that will soon be posted to our website, credits the large number of startups and the “funding of these startups like I’ve never seen before.”

If you couldn’t attend the show, we’ve got you covered. The AR team produced daily videos highlighting some of the new technologies on display in Detroit. Below is a list of the videos and the company representatives interviewed:

Day One: Desktop Metal, Jonah Myerberg; Arburg, Martin Neff, Lukas Pawelczyk; 3D Systems, Menno Ellis; Origin, Chris Prucha.

Day Two: nTopology, Brad Rothenberg; Ultimaker Americas, Jamie Howard; FARO Technologies, Les Baker; Markforged, Jon Reilly.

Day Three: TRUMPF, Thomas Fehn; Zeiss, Kevin Legacy; 3D Infotech, Paul Oberle; 3YOURMIND, Stefan Ritt.
