There was a lot to see and learn at the RAPID + TCT additive manufacturing show. And there was fun to be had.

For many people, the best part of the RAPID + TCT additive manufacturing conference and exhibition in September was simply being able to attend it. The event, held in Chicago and co-located with FABTECH 2021, was the first industry show many attendees had participated in since the COVID clamp-down began in March 2020.

Though the number of exhibitors and attendees was down considerably compared to the record figures posted for the 2019 installment, there were plenty of new and interesting technologies to see.

Stratasys displayed additively manufactured anatomical models. The company’s senior segment applications engineer, Evan Hochstein, explains that 3D printing accurately replicates body parts, allowing surgeons to practice a procedure before surgery. Click HERE to view the video.
