3D printing service bureau opens

FreeFORM reports that it’s one of the first service bureaus to be involved in metal binder jet AM.

FreeFORM Technologies recently opened its doors in St. Marys, Pa. The self-described “company of engineers for engineers” offers three methods of 3D-printing parts:

• Binder jet printing of metals, including stainless steel (17-4PH, 304L, and 316L), M2 tool steel, and INCONEL 718.

• SLA-style printing of a wide range of resin materials.

• FFF (fused filament fabrication) printing of many types of thermoplastics and metals.

The company also debinds and sinters customer-printed parts and offers design-for-manufacturing consultations, 3D scanning and reverse engineering services, and generative design assistance.

FreeFORM’s leadership team comprises Nate Higgins, president; Chris Aiello, vice president of business development; Andy Reasinger, vice president of engineering; and Eric Wonderling, vice president of quality and applications.
