Ceratizit to display 3D-printed tools at IMTEX 2019

The Ceratizit Group will be displaying its lines of cutting tools and related products at IMTEX/Tooltech 2019, to be held in Bangalore, India, Jan. 24 through Jan. 30.

Among the products the group plans to show are Komet 3D-printed HPC PCD milling cutters. According to Ceratizit, which is based in Belgium and has an office in Warren, Mich., 3D printing tools allows the production of geometries that would otherwise be impossible to achieve with conventional means. An example is the design of coolant channels. 3D printing helps ensure that each cutting edge is precisely supplied with coolant by a separate channel.
