Fathom gains U.S. patent, earns ranking on Inc. 5000 list

Oakland, Calif.-based Fathom, a provider of additive and traditional manufacturing services, has announced the issuance of a U.S. patent for the systems and methods powering its online digital manufacturing platform.

The patent relates to the internal and external platforms used to create price quotes for 3D objects with checkout option, including selection of units, materials, finish, and quantity of AM parts to be made.

The company also has received its seventh consecutive ranking on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
