Markforged offers INCONEL 625 for 3D printing

Markforged has announced that INCONEL 625 now is available for 3D printing with the company’s Metal X system. The material, highly resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, is suitable for applications that are exposed to harsh environments such as in chemical processing, offshore, and aerospace.

The alloy can be printed safely in-house, without the need for hazardous powders, specialized rooms, and highly trained staff, the company reports.
