The AFU5 printer unit from AddiFab is built to deliver low-volume 3D-printed injection mold tools quickly. It integrates seamlessly with other equipment from the manufacturer and is compatible with all the manufacturer’s printed tool resins, as well as those from most competitors.
Features include a build vat with ultralow-force layer release, automated resin supply, an Erowa ITS build-plane connector, and AddLine job management software. The printer offers a build volume of 54 by 96 by 200 mm, resolution of 50 µm X/Y down to 20 µm Z, and print speed up to 90 mm/hr.
