AON3D has introduced its AON-M2 2020 high-temperature industrial 3D printer for fabricating high-strength parts from strong thermoplastics. It features an 18- by 18- by 25-in. build envelope for printing large parts or running batch jobs of multiple parts at once.

The printer is designed to print aerospace-grade thermoplastics including PEEK, PEKK, ULTEM™, and polycarbonate. Its heated build chamber helps ensure first-layer adhesion to prevent warping, maintain dimensional accuracy, and improve interlayer bonding.

A patent-pending mechanical probing system and adaptive mesh leveling help ensure precision-calibrated prints across the build platform without the need for manual intervention.

The stepper motors and both hot ends are cooled with a liquid cooling loop. Dual independent tool heads allow production of parts using multiple materials and printing with two different nozzle sizes.
