- Additive Manufacturing
Gefertec offers the arc405 3D metal printer, which uses the company’s additive 3DMP® process. This 3D metal printing technology is based on arc welding, using wire as a source material as opposed to powder.
The new 3D printer is the first result of a joint venture between Gefertec and the EMAG Group. This 5-axis machine can produce metal components measuring up to 0.06 m3 with a maximum mass of 200 kg. As a minority shareholder, EMAG will be responsible in the future for mass production of the 3DMP machinery.
