Definitions

1. An undesirable coil condition in which the material appears dished. It can be caused in the cold rolling process if too much pressure is placed on the center of the strip, overstretching and lengthening the center of the material. If the material is rolled, the bumps simply transfer to the other side or pop in and out like an oil can.
