3D Systems, Rock Hill, S.C., and Switzerland-based GF Machining Solutions have formed a partnership combining 3D Systems’ additive manufacturing technology with GF’s precision machining. The partnership is intended to help manufacturers produce complex metal parts within tight tolerances more efficiently and to reduce operating costs.
According to the companies, the integrated systems will deliver factory automation comprising software for enhanced part design, 3-D printers, materials and automated material handling, EDM, milling equipment, and advanced postprocessing.
