Fives Machining moves Machine Tool Services & Solutions to expanded facility
Fives Machining Systems Inc.
Fives Machining Systems Inc., a global machine tool and complete manufacturing systems provider, has announced the relocation of its Machine Tool Services & Solutions business to a new production facility in Hebron, Ky. The business provides retrofitting and rebuilding of machine tools for aerospace and industrial manufacturers.
Since the company’s acquisition of Konecranes MTS and with the addition of service centers in Wichita, Kan., and Charlotte, N.C., the business has outgrown the space available in the former Konecranes MTS facility in Erlanger, Ky.
The new facility will support the activity of more than 20 service centers worldwide, including seven in North America.
