Okay Industries receives Supplier Excellence Award from Medtronic

Okay Industries Inc., New Britain, Conn., an engineering and contract manufacturing company, has received a 2018 Supplier Excellence Award from Medtronic, a Dublin-based medical technology company. It is one of only 13 companies from Medtronic’s supply base of approximately 48,000 to receive the award.

Okay supplies precision components to Medtronic’s Minimally Invasive Therapies Group, Restorative Therapies Group, and Cardiac and Vascular Group. The companies regularly collaborate on part design for manufacturability, component manufacturing and automation, precision assembly, and supply chain management.

Okay’s capabilities include CNC machining; metal stamping; laser Swiss machining; laser tube cutting, welding, and marking; design engineering; and supply chain management.
