Cortec Advanced Films completes expansion

Cortec® Corp. has opened its expanded Cortec Advanced Films (CAF) facility in Cambridge, Minn. The plant now has a front office building and training center, along with a warehouse to keep up with expanding VpCI® film production and recycling activities.

After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, visitors toured the production facilities where polyethylene film and bags are made for protecting new metal components and equipment of all sizes from corrosion. Following the tour, visitors gathered in the new warehouse complex for speeches by the mayor, the Cortec CEO, CAF’s production manager, and the project’s general contractor.
