AAM named as General Motors 2018 Supplier of the Year

Detroit-based American Axle & Mfg. (AAM), a Tier 1 automotive supplier that provides driveline, metal forming, and casting technologies, has won a General Motors Supplier of the Year Award. The automaker recognized 133 suppliers from 15 countries for consistently exceeding GM’s expectations, creating outstanding value, or introducing innovations to the company.

This is the third year in a row AAM has received the award. More than half of the suppliers are repeat winners from 2017.

Winners were selected based on performance criteria in product purchasing, global purchasing and manufacturing services, customer care and aftersales, and logistics.
