Rapid, a Protolabs company, wins The FABRICATOR’s 2019 Industry Award

Rapid, a Protolabs company in Nashua, N.H., has won The FABRICATOR®’s 2019 Industry Award. The award recognizes Rapid’s quick-turn production capabilities, lean manufacturing efforts, and overall evolution over the past year.

The sheet metal fabrication and machining company offers custom prototyping and low-volume production parts. It was acquired in 2017 by Minnesota-based Protolabs, a digital manufacturing source with facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

Protolabs is continuing to invest in further improving and digitizing Rapid's online-based quoting and fabrication services to increase capacity, automate processes, and offer expanded capabilities.

The annual award is open to companies and individuals in the fabricating industry that have improved operations, attained business success, and contributed to local and industrial communities.
