Nidec Press & Automation expands remanufacturing capabilities

Nidec Press & Automation, based in Minster, Ohio, has announced expansion projects on three continents, allowing the company to expand its press and component remanufacturing services. NPA combines the resources of Minster, Arisa, Kyori, Vamco, and SYS to offer these services worldwide.

Construction is underway for a 25,000-sq.-ft. addition to NPA’s service, repair parts, machining, and remanufacturing facility at its world headquarters in Minster. In addition, the NPA Service Center in Queretaro, Mexico, is expanding with a new facility that will increase its warehouse for common repair parts and its capabilities for remanufacturing large presses on-site.

Also, Nidec Arisa recently moved into a new, $30 million production facility in Navarrete, Spain, while the manufacturing operation for Kyori presses in Pinghu, China, is also undergoing a major expansion project. Improvements at these two facilities will boost new press production and provide resources for remanufacturing all the NPA machinery brands on location.
