George A. Mitchell Co. appoints president

Youngstown, Ohio-based George A. Mitchell Co., a manufacturer of push-pointing equipment for the tube and rod drawing industry and cold forming machines for tubular part production, has named Paul F. Russo as president.

Russo joined the company in 1984 as an R&D engineer. He was named vice president in 2007 after he became a partner in the business. Russo is a named inventor on two U.S. patents covering cold forming processes of tubular parts for various applications.

Concurrent to Russo’s appointment, company founder George A. Mitchell, 91, becomes chairman of the board and will remain active in a limited capacity.
