Kaast Machine Tools introduces HPB press brake

Kaast Machine Tools Inc. offers the HPB series press brake, featuring a 4-axis, dual Y1 and Y2 ram with glass scales and Delem graphical touchscreen controllers.

The machine has a rigid upper beam running on eight-point bearings with a precision of 0.0004 in. and a 2-axis backgauge system with 31 in. of travel and 0.0004-in. repeatability. Also available is a 6-axis ATF dual independent backgauge for complex bends.

Hoerbieger hydraulics provide synchronized working of chrome-coated cylinders with up to 2,000 tons of pressure across 4 to 20 ft. of bending length. The machine includes quick-release clamping, with Promecam-type top clamps to help ensure rapid and accurate bends, the company states. A motorized X-axis backgauge and manual R-axis are standard.
