Schwarze-Robitec’s CNC 220 E TB MR tube bender comes with large bending capacity

- Bending and Forming
Schwarze-Robitec's CNC 220 E TB MR electric, multistack tube and pipe bending machine, created for a customer in the automotive industry, has a maximum bending capacity of up to 8 in. in diameter. Capable of bending a broad spectrum of tube and profile dimensions, it can process lengths up to 13 ft., with a vertical height-adjustable pressure die moving to the required bending level. This enables users to better gauge the requisite bending forces and consistently apply the optimal contact pressure during bending.
Used in combination with individually adjustable tools, the machine’s multilevel technology allows tubes and pipes to be bent with short distances between bends. It features the NxG control, designed to optimize time, tool path, and speed on all CNC axes. With bend former retraction capability, the bend former and swivel arm can be operated separately, enabling a diverse range of tube geometries to be more easily adjusted and positioned during the bending process.
