C-Prime ceramic flap discs from Weldcote designed to run cool

Weldcote Metals, a division of Zika Group, offers two new ceramic flap discs.

C-Prime flap discs feature a strong polyester backing for aggressive grinding applications that do not require excessive flexibility. C-Prime Plus flap discs feature a poly-cotton backing with ceramic grain for flexibility and aggressive cutting.

The ceramic grains contain a grinding aid for cooler running temperatures to help reduce the risk of discoloration and heat-induced deformations of the final workpiece. They also are self-sharpening.
