Kaast F-Grind AH surface grinder can have three axes fully automated

Kaast Machine Tools offers the saddle-style F-Grind AH series surface grinder. Featuring hardened, ground, and PTFE-coated table guideways, the machine offers full stress-relieved main parts to help increase rigidity, stability, and grinding accuracy. With an optional AD5 auto downfeed system, three axes of the grinder can be fully automated.

The standard configuration includes a double V guide for transverse and combined flat and V guides for the longitudinal movements. These grinders also incorporate rapid traverse to working height and magnetization of the table. They accommodate workpieces from 5.8 by 17.5 in. to 15.5 by 31 in., depending on the model.

The spindle motors are available with up to 7.5 HP and speeds up to 2,900 RPM.
