Prima Power Laserdyne adds FASTTRIM software for enhanced laser processing

Prima Power Laserdyne has released FASTTRIM™ CAD/CAM software for use with its multiaxis precision laser processing systems. The all-in-one software enables users to model parts, define process paths, define feature locations, and build part fixtures. It allows posting a complete program for 2D and 3D laser welding, drilling, and cutting applications.

The software supports the LASERDYNE® 795, 430, and 606D systems for welding, percussion drilling, hole trepanning, and cutting. Features include full part simulation with collision detection; automatic programming based on the geometry of the model; and the ability to modify toolpaths through sheet offset, cutter offsets, and axis translations. The software supports up to six axes simultaneously.
